From June 15 to 18, 2022, VivaTech in Paris showcased the latest advancements in technology, drawing innovators and industry leaders from around the world. Augment, represented by CEO Rida Klink, was part of the Luxembourgish delegation, and shared his insightful impressions of the event. VivaTech is renowned for its display of groundbreaking technologies, making it a hub for envisioning the future and understanding how technology will integrate into daily life. One of the standout innovations this year was the concept of flying cars, a glimpse into a future that feels increasingly within reach.
VivaTech is not just about showcasing technology; it's also a prime venue for fostering connections and partnerships. The Augment team seized this opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions with large industrial companies and explore potential collaborations with other startups. This networking potential is one of the key reasons why VivaTech remains a crucial event for companies looking to stay at the forefront of technological innovation.
The Luxembourgish Pavilion at VivaTech 2022 was a highlight, attracting a steady stream of visitors with its unique design and welcoming atmosphere. The pavilion featured thoughtful touches like drinks and snacks, including Luxembourgish crémant, which added to the enjoyment of learning about tech innovations from Luxembourg. Augment had the privilege of presenting its new facility management product, Wiretwin, to Luxembourg's ambassador to France, Martine Schommer, during a special reception organized by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Ministère de l'Économie - Luxembourg.
Reflecting on the experience, Rida Klink remarked:
At VivaTech we really felt that we are part of the future. We saw that innovation could be applied in everyday life and that the creativity of the people working with technology can really have an impact on the world.
This sentiment captures the essence of VivaTech: a place where the future is not only envisioned but actively being built, and where the innovations of today are poised to transform the world of tomorrow.
