Written by Augment

In June 2022, Augment proudly participated in the economic trade mission to Canada, organized by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and the Luxembourg Ministry of Economy. This mission spanned from June 19th to June 25th, taking place in Toronto and Montreal. The delegation, which included key figures such as the Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume of Luxembourg, engaged in various activities including conferences, workshops, and trade shows, notably attending Collision, one of North America's premier tech conferences. Augment's presence in these events underscored its commitment to fostering international partnerships and promoting digital transformation.

During the mission, Augment's team had the opportunity to meet with Canadian economic leaders, including representatives from the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and various tech incubators. They also engaged with the Conseil des relations internationales de Montréal (CORIM), further expanding their network and discussing potential collaborations. The discussions focused on enhancing data standardization across industries, a key area where Luxembourg, through initiatives like the Gaia-X program, plays a leading role. These interactions highlighted the potential for collaboration between Luxembourg and Canada in driving forward the data-driven economy. Augment's participation in the mission provided valuable insights into the Canadian market and fostered connections that could lead to future partnerships.

The trade mission yielded promising outcomes, including potential collaborations and positive feedback on the value of Augment's offerings. By engaging directly with stakeholders and understanding the needs of the Canadian market, Augment strengthened its international presence and reinforced its position as a leader in digital facility management. The insights gained and connections made during this mission are poised to drive future innovations and expand Augment's influence in the global market. Additionally, the delegation's meetings with key figures such as Luxembourg's Minister of Economy, Franz Fayot, further solidified the mission's success and strategic importance.
