The LIFE Benelux Committee recently held an impactful event titled AI in Business: From Technology to Value in Luxembourg and online. This hybrid gathering brought together thought leaders, innovators, and professionals to showcase how artificial intelligence is shaping the modern business landscape. Organized by LIFE (Lebanese International Finance Executives), a global network connecting Lebanese professionals worldwide, the event aimed to highlight how to properly use AI and supercomputers in the workplace, and what each can bring to the business world.

The event featured two distinguished speakers: Jean Marc Alkazzi, Engineering Manager at idealworks, and Vittorio Santonocito from LuxProvide. Mr. Alkazzi provided valuable insights into the practical applications of AI in industry, demystifying the hype around large language models (LLMs) and offering actionable advice for integrating AI effectively into business operations. Mr. Santonocito, representing Luxembourg's HPC (high-performance computing) leader LuxProvide, shed light on the transformative potential of AI-powered systems and their contributions to the startup ecosystem, supported by the MeluXina supercomputer.

Rida Klink, CEO of Augment and a dedicated LIFE Benelux member, moderated the discussions, ensuring a balanced exploration of both challenges and opportunities presented by AI.
