In May 2025, Augment was honored to be one of the 10 finalists selected to pitch at the EY Startup World Cup Luxembourg, competing alongside some of the region’s most forward-thinking startups. The regional competition is part of the global Startup World Cup pipeline, organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, with winners advancing to San Francisco and a shot at a US$1 million investment.
For us, this wasn’t just about winning a contest. EY Luxembourg emphasizes building bridges between startups and global networks, and the competition gave us a chance to validate our vision in front of seasoned investors, entrepreneurs, and leaders. It was also a unique opportunity to benchmark ourselves among Luxembourg’s top emerging tech firms, sharpen our pitch, and open doors to new relationships, media, and potential clients.
In the months leading up to May, a selection committee, including Luxinnovation, LHoFT, LBAN, Technoport, the University of Luxembourg Incubator, Startup Luxembourg, the Luxembourg City Incubator, and Le Village by CA, reviewed applications and chose the 10 most promising startups. We were proud to stand among them.
On event day, we pitched at EY’s offices before a distinguished jury of investors and serial entrepreneurs. After a full day of presentations and deliberations, the winner was announced during the evening.
While we didn’t take home the top prize, we’d like to congratulate Exobiosphere on moving forward to the global finals. For us, the experience was deeply rewarding: it strengthened our story, tested our ideas, and gave us new momentum.
We’re grateful to EY Luxembourg and its partners for fostering innovation and supporting such a vibrant startup ecosystem. For Augment, this journey was less about a single pitch and more about the learning, the connections, and the belief it reinforced in our mission.
If you saw us in the EY program or attended the event, thank you for your encouragement and interest. And if you’d like to explore how Augment works (or see a demo), we’d love to connect.
